Hi, we are sable and katy.
We’ve been local music educators for over a decade and we are excited to team up to bring you Moonsong Studio. We believe we are all born musicians, it just takes the right amount of exposure to find that music inside us.
Our goal at Moonsong Studio is to create a musical community — whether you are listening, learning, experiencing or performing we want to help you find your relationship with the music that has been inside you all along!
“Music is our birthright and an organic part of humanity. ”
Testimonials
“Taking lessons with Sable has fostered my love of music. Through our weekly lessons, I have grown my musical ability as well as deepened my understanding of music theory. Lessons with Sable have been a valuable resource that has set me up to succeed as a developing musician.”
“Katy is amazing, patient and willing to work with you on schedules for your child to enjoy her music lessons. We adore Ms. Katy.”
“Katy is an excellent teacher, with a beautiful personality. I highly recommend Katy for a private piano teacher! You will not be disappointed!”
“My grandchildren are fortunate enough to be taking piano lessons with Sable. Not only are they learning to play piano and the theory that goes with it, they are also learning that music is played to convey a feeling. This makes music fun and enjoyable for them and also their audience!”
“Sable is an amazingly talented and versatile artist whose enthusiasm for music motivates her students to improve their own skills. She is comfortable in a wide variety of musical genres, from bluegrass to classical. We are so grateful that our son is able to take both piano and guitar lessons from her!”
